History
Van Dam is part of the Hollandia group of companies, a worldwide operating group of reputable Dutch companies well known for state-of-the-art steel
structures. The group's references include, amongst many others, The
Wembley Stadium and the London Eye, both in London and by Hollandia.
1906
We started as a sheet metal company in 1906, supplying the local ship
building industry with airbreathers and various engineered sheet metal
specialties.
1970’s
The serious start of the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry in the early 1970's gave us the signal to enter this market with our metal cladding experience, especially in Stainless Steel, and our expertise in special doors. Our activities in the Oil & Gas Industry are Van Dam's core business.
1980’s
As a direct spin-off from these activities we entered the world of Infrastructure
and Naval Defence projects in the early 1980s, providing this industry with
designed and built-to-order door and hatch specialties. To achieve this we
used the experience gained from our Oil & Gas activities, deploying cross-over
technology and truly combining the best of these worlds.
2002
Van Dam became ZNS Van Dam, part of the S3C holding, a group of reputable Dutch companies with global operations in a broad diversity of markets.
2008
ZNS Van Dam Geveltechniek B.V. changed its name to Van Dam B.V.
Early in 2008 Hollandia and ZNS fully integrated to form Hollandia. From that
moment on Hollandia has been used as the group's corporate name.

2009
Van Dam move their offices after 100 years from Ridderkerk (close to
Rotterdam) to Heijningen (close to Roosendaal).
2010
Van Dam finished their first project for a substation for a wind farm. Since
then Van Dam executed 5 substations. Main focus is the fire resistance architectural outfit like external walls and doors but also the internal panels, doors, ceilings and floors. Not only fire resistant but also radiation shielding against the high electrical voltage from the transformers.
